Distracted dancing and distracted living.
Do you ever feel like you are just “going through the motions”?
Maybe you’ve found yourself doing a Body Groove workout, but not really paying attention to what you’re doing.
Or maybe, you’ve found yourself just going through the motions of life, not really living with intention or purpose.
Both of those can have the same root cause: letting your mind wander away from the present, distracted by thoughts about the past or the future.
Today, before you start grooving with me, I want you to give yourself a mental checkup. Is there anything that is going to mentally distract you away from your workout? If there is, go ahead and deal with it before you start grooving.
With those distractions out of the way, you can give yourself completely to the present, and really enjoy today’s workout.
